As the site operations rapidly expanded, so too, did the space appropriate for the members of the support teams, such as the Quality Assurance, Validation, Sales & Marketing and Regulatory teams.

A detailed analysis of the Sales and Marketing forecasts over a 10 year horizon, was combined with the predicted headcount increases required to support such expansion. A year by year, stepped and staged plan was developed, providing high level insight of what was needed and when. Knowing the lead time needed to design, manufacture and deliver each step change, in turn provided the clearly defined start date for each phase, which was based on meeting key increases in the Sales data.
